In summer, due to risks of fire, access to forest areas is regulated. The Var Prefecture updates the map daily, late afternoon for the next day.
Look at the map before you go for a walk !

- Access authorized, work authorized with appropriate prevention and extinguishing devices
- Access not recommended and work that could cause a fire prohibited
- Access and work prohibited (special access conditions on the islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles)
- Access and work prohibited in all forest areas, EXTREME vigilance required
