The community of communes is committed! At the level of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez community of communes, a number of waste management initiatives have been put in place:
- – loan of reusable crockery
- – composting and food waste
- – a range of waste sorting training courses
- – awareness-raising campaigns by sorting ambassadors
- – waste collection in the 12 communes
- – textile collection
- – 11 drop-off centres and 2 green waste platforms are available to private individuals and businesses in the Golfe de Saint-Tropez area.
- In addition to its 11 waste collection centres, the Saint-Tropez Community of Communes manages 1 green waste recovery site. Collected mainly at the inter-communal waste collection centres, green waste is diverted from the traditional household waste processing circuit and is treated to provide useful solutions for the agricultural sector, private individuals and, to a lesser extent, energy recovery.
